Dr. Anita Gordon

Dr. Anita Gordon is one of Atlanta’s most trusted dental care providers and the pillar of Brookhaven Village Dentistry, originally Gordon Family Dentistry. For over forty years, Dr. Gordon has treated patients as valued guests,  who eventually became like family to both her and the team. Dr. Gordon has treated multiple generations of families. She is now treating the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of some of her very first patients. When not in the office, Dr. Gordon spends her time enjoying new restaurants all around the country, traveling internationally with friends and visiting family. ~ Dr. Gordon is retired and is no longer accepting patients at this time.

Dr. Myra Scarlett

Dr. Myra Scarlett joins the team as a passionate and skilled general dentist offering an array of services and the latest dental technology. She has nearly 15 years of experience in dentistry, stemming from West Georgia Technical College where she dual-enrolled while in high school and earned the title of Certified Dental Assistant. With this solid foundation, she went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of West Georgia, then her Doctorate from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Scarlett strives to ensure patients are comfortable and well-informed of their oral health by thoroughly explaining procedures, reviewing radiographs & intra-oral photos with each patient. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Scarlett enjoys reading thriller & suspense novels and biking along Silver Comet Trail.

Andy

Business Administrator

The first face patients see when they come to our office is Andy’s— who has been a part of the team for nearly 20 years. Andy provides a friendly, courteous and professional service, with the willingness to go the extra mile to help patients. She leads our team in facilitating patient-office interactions and ensuring great experiences both in and out of the chair. In her free time, Andy loves spending time outdoors with her family.

Maria

Treatment Coordinator

Maria brings to the community a wealth of knowledge with over 23 years of experience. With both a clinical and administrative background, Maria provides an even greater perspective in helping patients build a treatment plan specific to their needs and goals. She works one-to-one with patients to help them make the most of their dental insurance and find payment terms that fit within their budget. On the weekends, Maria enjoys gardening and vacationing with her family.

Fredy

Clinical Lead

Fredy has led the clinical department for over 17 years. He is well versed in all things surgical and restorative. Patient care is his top priority with an emphasis on making patients feel comfortable. Patients appreciate Fredy’s gentle and compassionate chairside manner and often ask for him by name. Outside of work, Fredy enjoys cooking healthy and nutritious foods. 

Sara

Registered Dental Hygienist

Sara is an expert in educating patients on how to keep their smiles healthy and strong. After meeting the team in 2018, she realized she loved the team atmosphere & the high quality of care that was provided and subsequently decided to join us. She finds value in helping others. Sara earned her degree from Georgia State University. Sara enjoys traveling internationally in her free time.

Maxine

Registered Dental Hygienist

As a part of the team for over 15 years, Maxine has built relationships with patients that make them more like family. Through numerous hours of continuing education and research within her profession, she provides all patients with excellent dental care.  She ensures patients feel at ease when visiting the office. In her spare time, Maxine enjoys spending time with family at the beach and watching action movies.
